Bracknell Bees have confirmed their first signing of the summer with netminder Alex Mettam agreeing another season with the club.

Mettam has plenty of EPL experience under his belt having previously played for Guildford Flames and MK Lightning.

Bees’ boss Lukas Smith said: “The return of Alex is a key signing for us and I’m very happy to have him back in Bees colours once more.

“I feel he had another solid season last time campaign and his stats were still impressive despite our final league position and goals against.

“He has a great work ethic and fantastic attitude on the ice.

“Netminders like Alex are not widely available and I’m confident that we will see the best of him again this season and hopefully his efforts will make a major contribution for us as he can be the difference for us on any given night.”
