Cardiff Devils still lead the Elite League after splitting their weekend double-header against Sheffield Steelers.
Tomas Kurka, Andrew Lord, Joey Martin and Ryan Russell got the goals as Devils gained a 4-3 road success, but Steelers gained their revenge in the reverse fixture as goals by Tyler Mosienki (2), Conny Stromberg (2) and Mathieu Roy sealed a 5-4 victory.
Belfast Giants enjoyed a four-point weekend, winning 6-2 at home to Nottingham Panthers and 2-1 at Coventry Blaze.
Panthers bounced back from their defeat against the Giants with a 4-2 win at home to Blaze – Evan Mosey (2) topped their scoring.
TJ Caig (2) led the way for Fife Flyers as they eased to a 5-1 success at Braehead Clan.
Goals by Justin Faryna and Mikael Lidhammar sealed a miserable weekend for Clan as Dundee Stars secured a 2-1 victory on home ice.
Manchester Storm continued their recent good form, picking up two wins to move into the play-off places.
Luke Salazar hit a hat-trick in Storm’s 7-5 home success against Dundee Stars and they followed up with a 4-1 win at Edinburgh Capitals.
