Cardiff Devils still lead the way in the Elite League after an impressive four-point weekend.
Goals by Guillaume Doucet (above), Andrew Hotham and Leigh Salters sealed a 3-1 success at home to Nottingham Panthers and Devils followed up with a stylish 5-2 win at Coventry Blaze.
Sheffield Steelers also picked up a pair of victories from their weekend double-header at Belfast Giants.
Tyler Mosienko and Mathieu Roy both scored twice in a 6-2 success and the duo were on target again in Steelers’ 3-1 win, which leaves them four points behind Devils with two games in hand.
Braehead Clan are up to third in the table after collecting two wins.
Two goals each for Stefan Meyer and Brendan Brooks helped Clan to a 7-4 win on home ice against Dundee Stars, while Ben Davies (2) led the scoring in their 5-2 victory at Manchester Storm.
Neil Trimm hit a hat-trick for Coventry on their way to a 6-5 overtime win at Edinburgh Capitals – Mike Quesnele got the deciding goal. Capitals completed a miserable weekend with a 5-1 defeat at Dundee Stars.
Grant Toulmin (3), Paul Phillips (2) and Vinny Scarsella got the goals for Manchester as they ran out 6-4 winners at Fife Flyers.
