Great Britain U20 have arrived in Slovakia for a week-long training camp ahead of December’s World Championship (Division 1B) tournament.

The camp will feature matches against Extraliga U20 side Hoba Bratislava on Wednesday and St Polten, from Okanagan Austria, on Thursday. It also includes on and off-ice training sessions and a scrimmage with a local club team.

Head Coach Tom Watkins, said: “This will be vital part of our planning for December’s World Championship in Budapest.

“It will be an intensive week but one I think the players will gain so much experience from. To get the team together and see them in on-ice situations will be very important.”
