Giants add Ashley Tait to this weekends lineup

The Stena Line Belfast Giants are pleased to announce the addition of Ashley Tait for this weekends away games vs Manchester and Sheffield. The 6’1” British forward goes straight into the lineup with the Giants hit by injuries and suspensions that has seen the team continue to play shortbenched in recent games.
The forward, who began the 2017/18 season with the Milton Keynes Lightning, will wear the #42 jersey for the Giants and Saturday night in Manchester will see Tait reach the impressive milestone of 800 games played in all Elite League competitions.
Tait will bring experience to the Giants roster this weekend, having won over 100 caps for Team GB and multiple championships in the UK and Europe including four Elite League titles and four Playoff Championships.

“I have played against Ashley many times and I like his game. Once we found out that Ashley was available to join us this weekend, there was no hesitation in making an approach.”
