Hull Pirates have kicked off their summer signings for next season’s Moralee D1 campaign with six returnees from last year’s EPL squad.

Defenders Jamie Chilcott and Lee Haywood, along with forwards Lee Bonner (above), Jordan Fisher, Josh Gent and Sam Towner have agreed another season with the club.

Whitley Player/Coach David Longstaff has returned for a further year with the Hillheads outfit. Longstaff has begun to rebuild his squad, with netminder Richie Lawson signing for his seventh season with the Warriors.

Forward Adam Finlinson has joined from Swindon Wildcats, while Kyle Hindmarch-Ross returns to the club after a year in Canada.

Sheffield Steeldogs have appointed Ben Morgan as their new Player/Coach. Forwards Aaron Jepson and Cameron Brownley are the first addition to Morgan’s squad.

Blackburn Hawks’ Player/Coach Steve Duncombe has confirmed long-serving defender Ollie Lomax has agreed another season with the club. Forward James Riddoch also returns for a further year.

Andy Chappell and Gav Austin are back for another campaign with Deeside Dragons.
