Chelmsford Chieftains produced a power-packed performance at Oxford City Stars to retain their place at the head of the NIHL1 South standings.
Juraj Huska (3) topped the scoring for the Chieftains as they recorded an impressive 10-5 road victory.
Stars’ 6-1 success at Bracknell Hornets the previous day sees them end the weekend second in the table.
The Hornets secured their first league points of the season with a 2-1 win at Solent Devils – Ben Ealey-Newman scored the winner.
MK Thunder also recorded their first league success this term with a 5-2 home victory over Wightlink Raiders.
In the D1S Cup Invicta Dynamos crashed 7-3 on the road against Wightlink, but bounced back on home ice courtesy of a hard-fought 7-4 success over Streatham IHC.
London Raiders claimed their first points in this season’s cup competition after winning 6-5 at home to Chelmsford.
Peterborough Islanders maintained their 100% record in D2S with a 3-2 victory at Haringey Racers – Nathan Pollard grabbed the winner.
That result completed a miserable weekend for the Racers who also crashed 6-2 at Slough Jets.
Chelmsford Warriors won 4-3 at Invicta Mustangs, while Wightlink Buccaneers triumphed 7-5 at Basingstoke Buffalo.
Bristol Pitbulls drew 4-4 with Swindon Wildcats NIHL in the D2S Cup.
