It’s been a busy summer of signings in the Elite League, but with the season still three months away there promises to be plenty more to come.
Rink Mole has been busy talking to contacts across Britain to uncover the latest rumours.
Devils to sign title-winning forward?
Cardiff Devils have just confirmed three returnees and a new signing to their roster, but they could be set to further boost their ranks with the signing of Jeff Szwez (above).
The forward enjoyed two successful spells with the Belfast Giants and has spent the last two seasons playing in Germany, but he may be set to return to the British game.
Lloyd heading to Scotland?
Darryl Lloyd could be on his way to Scotland, with Braehead Clan thought to be keen on adding the gritty Giants forward to their ranks.
Lloyd has iced almost 300 times for the Giants, winning two league titles, but the 32-year-old could be poised to accept a new challenge.
Davies returning home?
Cardiff-born forward Ben Davies is strongly rumoured to be on his way back to South Wales to join the Devils.
Davies came through the ranks at Cardiff before joining the Clan in 2014, where he has scored 23 goals with 38 assists in 121 games.
Coffman set for Flyers switch?
American forward Tim Coffman is understood to be interested in a move to Britain, with Fife Flyers his most likely destination.
Coffman has previous European experience with Tilburg Trappers in the Netherlands and has spent the last three seasons with Alaska Aces in the ECHL.
Foster to join Saviano in Belfast?
American forward Alex Foster could be reunited with the Giants’ new signing Steve Saviano next season.
The pair teamed up last year at Bolzano Foxes of the Austrian Hockey League and it’s understood Foster may also be on his way to the Elite League.
Cardiff could emerge as rivals for Foster’s signature.
