South Cup fixtures announced

The NIHL have confirmed the schedule for the South Cup return-to-play tournament, which gets underway this weekend.

Haringey Huskies, MK Thunder, Slough Jets and Solent Devils will play a round robin competition over the next five weekends.

The Huskies complete the tournament lineup having applied for and been granted their DCMS elite sport status. Huskies were champions of Division 2 East last season.

The opening fixture is this coming Saturday as Slough Jets host Solent Devils at the Hangar, face off 5.30pm.

Clubs will confirm details of online coverage of the South Cup games in the coming days, as all matches will be played behind closed doors.

Dropping the puck in the South Cup will mean three divisions are up and running in the return to play, following strict COVID protocols and regular testing for players.
