Sheffield Steeldogs have strengthened their import ranks with a returnee and a new signing.
Arnoldas Bosas enjoyed a stellar first season in the EPL, bagging 50 goals with 27 assists in 54 games.
Joining Bosas amongst the Steeldogs forwards will be Adrian Palak.
The 26-year-old spent last season with Deeside Dragons in NIHL2 North, scoring 70 goals in 28 games to help the club to the league and play-off titles.
Player/Coach Greg Wood said: “Bosas is one of the most exciting and talented players I’ve seen play the game at iceSheffield.
“He’ll put you on the edge of your seat, he has that cannon of a shot, a tremendous level of skill and those one on one moves are unbelievable.
“He was very well respected in the dressing room – all the guys absolutely love him.
“He rolls his sleeves up and turns up every night. If the younger guys see him leading the way and working hard, they will follow his example.
“We have retained a quality player and that speaks for what the club are trying to do.
“Adrian is coming in and will be replacing one of our Brits – so that in itself is already a massive upgrade.
“People will probably look at where he played last season, but he has played in a variety of leagues in France and in Slovakia.
“He’s always put up really good points which isn’t easy to do in those leagues – that shows the quality he has.
“It’s not a gamble – I’ve seen him play, I’ve practised with him. The guy can play and I think he’ll do a really good job for us – he’ll probably surprise a lot of people.
