Blackburn Hawks retained their 100% record and moved to the top of NIHL North Moralee D1 after an impressive four-point weekend.
Hawks won 12-4 at Sheffield Spartans and followed up with a 5-1 success on home ice against Solway Sharks.
Dennis Boström (above) bagged a hat-trick for Billingham Stars in their 9-2 victory at Sheffield Senators.
Josh Bruce (2) & Tom Soar (2) led the scoring for Solihull Barons as they won 8-0 at home to the Senators. Telford Tigers NIHL triumphed 3-1 at Sutton Sting.
Dan Hazeldine’s late strike sealed a 6-5 win for Laidler D2 leaders Nottingham Lions at home to Blackburn Eagles.
Widnes Wild won 9-2 on home ice against Hull Jets. Bradford Bulldogs picked up their first points of the season after a 5-2 success at home to Coventry Blaze. Bulldogs found things tougher on the road, crashing 7-2 at Altrincham Aces.
Streatham Redskins still lead NIHL1 South despite enduring a mixed weekend of results. Redskins lost 4-1 at home to Chelmsford Chieftains, but bounced back with a 5-4 victory at Oxford City Stars. Chieftains maintained their unbeaten record with an 8-3 home win against London Raiders.
Eriks Ozollapa scored both goals as Invicta Dynamos won 2-1 at home to Wightlink Raiders. Solent Devils drew 1-1 at London and followed up with a 5-3 home success against MK Thunder.
Bracknell Hornets lost 9-2 on home ice against Wightlink, while Cardiff Devils NIHL secured their first victory of the season with a 5-4 home win against Oxford.
In D2S Haringey Racers won 15-1 at Invicta Mustangs, Chelmsford Warriors enjoyed an 11-3 home success against Peterborough Islanders and Slough Jets beat Lee Valley Lions 8-4. Basingstoke Buffalo are still undefeated in the D2S Cup after an 11-1 win at Lee Valley.
MK Lightning still lead the EPL after securing four points out of a possible six. Lightning started the week with a 6-4 home win against Manchester Phoenix, before falling 3-1 at Basingstoke Bison. Marko Luomala ensured they ended the week on a positive note with the decider in a 4-3 shoot-out success at Sheffield Steeldogs.
Peterborough Phantoms also picked up four points, defeating Phoenix 5-2 on the road and Bison 2-1 after a shoot-out back on home ice. Guildford Flames won 2-1 at home to Telford Tigers, but couldn’t add a second victory at Bracknell as the Bees secured a 4-3 success.
Swindon Wildcats notched a stylish 11-1 win on home ice against the Steeldogs and pushed Tigers to overtime in Telford, but Sam Zajac denied them another win as the home team sealed a 3-2 victory. Hull Pirates lost 7-2 at home to Bracknell, but they finally secured their first EPL win with a 2-1 overtime success at Phoenix.
Cardiff Devils lead the Elite League after collecting a pair of wins. Devils won 3-1 at Fife Flyers and followed up with a 5-1 home victory against Sheffield Steelers. Andy Bohmbach scored twice for Nottingham Panthers as they won 5-2 at home to Fife.
Belfast Giants lost 2-1 after a shoot-out at home to Coventry Blaze, but bounced back in the reverse fixture with an astonishing 10-8 success. Braehead Clan won 6-4 at home to Dundee, but Stars gained their revenge in the reverse fixture with a 4-3 victory after a shoot-out.
Manchester Storm won 3-2 after a shoot-out at home to Edinburgh, but Capitals bounced back in the return game on home ice with a 5-4 success. In the Elite Challenge Cup, Braehead won 5-3 at home to Fife and Sheffield sealed a 2-1 home victory against Nottingham.
