Cardiff Devils coach Andrew Lord has issued a plea to the club’s fans to bring the noise as they aim to reach the knockout stages of the Champions Hockey League for the first time.
The play-off winners host the current holders of the competition at the Viola Arena as they complete the group stage, knowing a victory will be enough to see them into the last 16.
And Lord insists his team have nothing to lose as they aim to emulate Nottingham Panthers in coming out of their section.
“We have to be at our absolute best and a lot of things have to go right and we have a chance. We’ve waited years for it in the CHL,” he said.
“We have worked tirelessly to get to this point and I think there is literally nothing to lose. We’ve got to just let it all hang out and go for it”
“My message to the fans is we need you. You’ve been bringing it here in the last couple of weeks and the atmosphere has improved in the last couple of weeks.
“The whole building is energised and there’s a great vibe in the room and I believe Frolunda have been the best team in Europe in the last five years.”
Frolunda won last week’s meeting 9-2, but Cardiff have previous of overcoming tough SHL opposition in this competition.
Lord led his team to a 5-1 win over Vaxjo Lakers two seasons and ran them close last season, being edged out 6-5 in overtime in the end.

But victory over Frolunda in regulation time will see them through.Alternatively, an overtime win could be enough if Mountfield lose in regulation time to Graz 99ers in their game.
Meanwhile, Belfast Giants end their CHL campaign with a trip to Lulea, looking to end their maiden campaign on a high.
The EIHL champions will go no further in the competition and come up against the SHL side looking for their first win on the road this season.
Both sides met last week at the SSE Arena, with Adam Keefe’s men going down 6-3 despite a valiant performance.
Both games will be shown live on FreeSports, with Belfast’s game in Sweden starting at 5pm, while Cardiff’s hosting for Frolunda faces off at 7.30pm.
