Basingstoke Bison have confirmed the signing of Matt Towalski.

The experienced forward began his senior career in 2000 and has been a regular fixture in the EPL with Slough Jets, MK Lightning and Bracknell Bees.

Basingstoke boss Doug Sheppard commented: “I’m determined to leave no stone unturned in our quest for success this season and bringing Matt into the dressing room is only going to help us achieve our aims.

“Everyone knows what qualities Matt brings to a team, both on and off the ice. He is an extremely dependable player who has played some of the best hockey of his career in recent years.

“Despite all he has accomplished, he still has a point to prove and I am hopeful that together we can push ourselves further.”

Towalski will make his Basingstoke debut on Boxing Day at Swindon Wildcats, before facing his former team Bracknell on home ice the following day.
