Coventry Blaze have released forward Ned Lukacevic.

The 29-year-old, a citizen of Montenegro and Canada, arrived at the Skydome in the summer after a prolific spell in the Elite League with Fife Flyers.

Head Coach Chuck Weber said: “As an organisation we are not happy with where we are in the table. Unfortunately, part of the business is having to make tough decisions to move the club forward.

“We have decided to release Ned from his contract and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”
