Cardiff Devils have provided an update for season ticket holders amid the Elite League extension.
Following the news that the EIHL season will be extended the Devils have released new information for their season ticket holders.
Season Tickets
With six games played behind closed doors including the Play-off Quarter Final, holders will receive the value of five games.
This will be offered in a variety of ways, including:
- A merchandise voucher to use at the club shop.
- A match night ticket voucher which can be used for any home game with no expiry date.
- Credit towards the 22/23 season ticket.
- Or finally, as a straight refund for the value of the games missed.
The value of these options depends on what type of season ticket you hold.
All information is on the club’s website.
Semi Finals
In other news the Challenge Cup semi-finals are fast approaching.
The Devils will face Sheffield Steelers in a one-legged affair in Sheffield.
The other tie is the Nottingham Panthers who face the Belfast Giants.
This means if the Devils beat the current first placed team in the league they will face either the Panthers or the Giants.
With the top seed team getting to host the final if the Panthers win then Cardiff will host.
If Belfast win however then they will host the Devils at the SSE Arena.
Both ties will be played on the 23rd of February, with the Panthers playing away in Belfast for their game.
The Devils play the Steelers in a ‘warm-up’ type of match in the league just three days before the final.
They also face a tough double header against Belfast at the start of this month.
January showed what the Welsh side could do, winning 11 games out of 12 last month.
They will hope to carry this form into February as they hover two points behind the Steelers in the league.
