Cardiff Devils have completed the signing of power forward Patrick Bordeleau.

The former Colorado Avalanche enforcer has played 136 games in the NHL, in addition to making nearly 300 appearances in the AHL.

Player/Coach Andrew Lord said: “Patrick brings an awesome dynamic of size, energy and physical play.

“He skates well and will add a great presence to our forward unit while also playing quality minutes. He played multiple seasons in the NHL and his experience and character will be huge for our group.

“Despite having some good interest from teams in North America, Patrick was looking for a new opportunity overseas and he was sold on everything this organisation and city has to offer.

“This signing shows just how far the Cardiff Devils have come over the last two seasons.

“I’m so proud to see the hard work of our organisation and the undying support from our fanbase get rewarded with this massive addition.”
