Dundee snap up Swedish forward

Dundee Stars have signed experienced Swedish forward Johan Andersson.

Dundee Stars have signed experienced Swedish forward Johan Andersson.

The 30-year-old played 36 games in France last season after a spell with Rungstad in Denmark. Prior to that, Andersson spent the majority of his career in Sweden’s second tier.

Stars’ boss Marc LeFebvre said: “Johan is a skilled and dynamic centre that will add offence to our line-up. He’s also very good defensively and will be an impactful two-way player.

“I’m looking forward to having him in a Stars jersey.”

Andersson added: “I’m excited to come and play for Dundee and I’ve heard great things about the city and the fans and I want to win a lot of games with my new teammates.”
