Sheffield Steelers still lead the Elite League after an impressive four-point weekend.

Mathieu Roy (2), Jeff Legue and Tyler Mosienko got the goals in Steelers’ 4-2 win at Nottingham Panthers, while Ben O’Connor (2) topped the scoring in their 6-3 home victory against Coventry Blaze.

Cardiff Devils stay second, two points behind with a game in hand, after picking up a pair of wins at home to Belfast Giants.

Joey Martin (2) led the way as Devils won 5-2 in their first ever game at Ice Arena Wales, but they need overtime to seal a second success – Tomas Kurka grabbed the decider in a 4-3 success.

The results confirmed Devils as the Erhardt Conference champions and they are guaranteed to claim the league title if they win their remaining three games.

Braehead Clan remain on course to clinch the Gardiner Conference crown after recording two wins against Manchester Storm.

Scott Pitt scored four in Clan’s 8-3 success on home ice, while Matt Keith and Thomas Nesbitt weighed in with a couple of goals apiece in a 6-3 road victory.

Evan Mosey grabbed the deciding goal for the Panthers as they battled to a 2-1 overtime success at Fife Flyers.

Bobby Chaumont hit a hat-trick for Dundee in their 10-2 win at Edinburgh Capitals, while Justin Faryna matched the feat as Stars triumphed 13-2 in the reverse fixture.
