Basingstoke Bison extended their lead at the top of the EPL to six points after picking up a pair of wins.
Bison comfortably disposed of Manchester Phoenix 5-0 on home ice and they followed up with a 4-1 victory at Hull – Ciaran Long (2) and Rene Jarolin (2) got the goals against the Pirates.
MK Lightning moved up to second in the table after a four-point weekend.
Jordan Cownie (2) led the scoring in a 4-1 win at home to Bracknell Bees, while Blaz Emersic and Bobby Chamberlain were on target in Lightning’s 2-0 success at Peterborough Phantoms.
Guildford Flames won 3-1 at home to Telford Tigers – Jens Eriksson, Lee Esders and Tom Duggan got the goals – and Eriksson followed up by grabbing the winner in Flames’ 2-1 victory at Bracknell.
Tomasz Malasinski hit a hat-trick for Swindon in their 3-1 home win against Hull, but Wildcats produced a disappointing performance at Manchester as the home team cruised to a 5-0 success.
Sheffield Steeldogs lost 6-3 at home to Peterborough, but bounced back in style to claim a 4-2 win at Telford – Arnoldas Bosas (2) topped their scoring in Shropshire.
