Cardiff Devils have confirmed Josh Batch has agreed a sixth season with the club.

The 25-year-old blueliner was an ever-present last season and has established himself as a key part of the Devils’ roster.

He is also a regular fixture in the Great Britain squad, taking part in this year’s Olympic pre-qualifiers in Italy and the World Championship tournament in Zagreb.

Player/Coach Andrew Lord said: “Josh continues to get better and better – he is so consistent and was a big part of our success over the last two seasons.

“He plays an important role for the Devils and plays in every situation for us.

“We know we can count on him in the big games as well and we see him as an important part of the Devils for years to come.”
