Great Britain Women picked up their second win at the World Championship (Division 2A) in Bled with a 6-0 victory over hosts Slovenia.

Netminder Nicole Jackson secured a 26-shot shut-out as GB produced a polished performance to move onto six points in the tournament.

Leanne Ganney, Sophie Herbert, Kim Lane, Loiuse Adams, Katie Henry and CJ Ashton got the goals to keep GB firmly on course for a medal.

Head Coach, Michelle Smith, said: “We needed a response from Sunday and I think we got it – we asked for a fast start and that is exactly what we got.

“Credit to the girls for bouncing back from Sunday’s defeat in a really professional manner.

“This is a very open tournament and anything can happen and we just have to stay focused night in, night out.”

GB return to action on Thursday as they face unbeaten Poland (12 noon UK time).
