Stars’ boss Simon Anderson said: “I’m obviously delighted to have attracted someone of Dom’s experience to Oxpens Road – he will bring a massive amount of experience and know-how to our young team.
“It was important for me to try and bring the very best players available to Oxford and I believe I’ve brought a top player here.
“Every time I coached against a team with Dom in it, I used to wish he would be on my side and it’s finally happened.
“We are looking to become the very best we can season after season and this signing confirms this.”
Stars have also signed netminder Mark Duffy from Bracknell Hornets, while defenseman Jake Florey has agreed another season.
