Latvian forward joins the Panthers

Nottingham Panthers added Deivids Sarkanis to their roster for the rest of the Elite League season.

The Latvian forward has represented his country and most recently played for Kitzbüheler EC in the Alps Hockey League.

The 22-year-old has previously iced in the KHL for Dinamo Riga and Morzine-Avoriaz-Les Gets in France.

Panthers’ boss Corey Neilson said: “He’s young and ambitious and he’s fast. I’ve spoken with him and he’s thrilled to be joining us.”
