Evan Mosey has agreed a new two-year deal with Nottingham Panthers.

Mosey was already on a two-year deal covering the current season and next year, but that has been ripped up and replaced by a new two-year deal which takes him to the end of the 2018 season.

“I’m delighted – I love playing and living in Nottingham and I love playing for this organisation,” said Mosey.

A club spokeswoman added: “It was a no-brainer – he can play forward, he helps out on defence when needed and as he showed in the cup final he can score big goals – the biggest of goals.”

“He’s also probably the fastest skater in the league and he’s a handful for any opponent. He brings a lot to the table and we recognise that – everyone is thrilled to have a new extended deal agreed. It’s a boost for everyone ahead of the play-offs.”
