It’s been a busy few days in NIHL North, with teams across the league announcing returnees and new signings.
Billingham Stars have confirmed five additions to their roster for the upcoming Moralee D1 campaign, with Tom Keeley (above), Jack Davies, Mark Watson, Jack Emerson and Andy Finn all agreeing another season with the club.
Solihull Barons have welcomed back 14 of last season’s squad including Niklas Ottosson, Thomas Soar, Josh Nicholls and Ryan Selwood.
David Longstaff has agreed another year as Whitley Warriors’ Player/Coach and he’s already begun to build his team for the new campaign, with Dean Holland, Martin Crammond, Craig Johnson, Jordan Barnes and Richie Lawson all back at Hillheads for the 2016/17 season.
Harry Harley, Dan Pye, Liam Smedley and Ben Richards are also back for a further season with the club.
Reigning champions Blackburn Hawks have added forward Tom Parkinson to their roster.
Widnes Wild’s preparations for the Laidler D2 season have been dealt a big blow after Player/Coach Scott McKenzie resigned from his position.
Tom Ratcliffe, Chris Gee, Pavel Vales, Michal Fico have all been confirmed as returnees to the Wild roster.
Graham Laverick and Arthur Brookes have agreed another season with Coventry Blaze, while Jordan Liddell has joined from Nottingham Lions.
Wayne Slater, Jordan Ashington, Dave Williams and Tomas Mitrik all return for a further season with Blackburn Eagles.
Altirncham Aces have confirmed Mikey Gilbert has agreed another year, while Corey Lee has also been added to the roster.
