Telford Tigers NIHL kept their survival hopes alive with a 5-3 victory at Deeside Dragons – Karol Jets led the way with a hat-trick.
Philip Mulcahy (3) and James Riddoch (2) topped the scoring for Blackburn Hawks as they boosted their play-off hopes with a 9-3 home win against Sutton Sting.
Billingham Stars strengthened their grip on second place after recording a four point weekend.
Dennis Bostrom bagged the winner as the Stars won 5-4 at Telford, while Daniel Palmebjork weighed in with a couple of goals in their 8-4 home victory over Whitley Warriors.
Jordan Buesa hit a hat-trick for Solway Sharks in their 6-4 Northern Cup success at Blackburn.
Chris Jones scored four for Blackburn Eagles as they extended their lead at the top of Laidler D2 to five points with an 8-2 victory at Bradford Bulldogs.
Tom Revesz scored a later winner for Altrincham Aces in their 4-3 home success against Bradford.
Hull Jets picked up four points from their weekend double-header with Coventry Blaze NIHL, winning 4-3 on home ice and 8-1 in the reverse fixture.
