Blackburn Hawks completed their NIHL North Moralee D1 regular season fixtures with a three-point weekend.
Tom King (3) topped the scoring in Hawks’ 8-2 home win against Solihull Barons, while Adam Brittle’s second of the night secured a 3-3 draw at Billingham Stars.
Barons recovered back on home ice to record a 6-1 success over Sheffield Spartans – Thomas Soar (2) and Ryan Selwood (2) were amongst their scorers.
Struan Tonnar hit a hat-trick for Solway Sharks in their 9-3 home victory against Sutton Sting.
Sheffield Senators lost 7-2 at Telford Tigers NIHL, but they came close to picking up their first point of the season at home to Whitley Warriors – eventually falling 3-2 to David Longstaff’s team.
Hull Jets finished their Laidler D2 campaign on a high with two home victories.
Cain Taylor scored four as Jets won 7-3 against Blackburn Eagles, while Raivis Sadinovs (2) led the way in their 6-3 success against Coventry Blaze.
Chris Jones (4) led the scoring for the Eagles as they bounced back with a 13-1 win at home to Altrincham Aces.
Widnes Wild lost 8-2 on home ice against Solway in the Northern Cup.
