Whitley Warriors continued their recent resurgence in NIHL North with a dominant display at home to Blackburn Hawks.
Callum Watson (3), Harry Harley, Dean Holland, and Lawson Glasby got the goals as the Warriors secured a fully-deserved 6-0 home success over the reigning Moralee D1 champions.
Solihull Barons produced a remarkable comeback on home ice against Deeside Dragons, recovering from 4-0 down after 11 minutes to record a 10-7 victory.
Telford Tigers NIHL slumped to the bottom of the table after a spectacular collapse at home to Sutton Sting. The Tigers led 5-1 after 34 minutes, but the visitors fought back to seal a 6-5 success.
Struan Tonnar (2) and Duncan Speirs (2) led the scoring for Solway Sharks in their 8-2 Northern Cup win at home to Billingham Stars.
In D2N, promotion-chasing Blackburn Eagles made it eight wins on the spin with a comfortable 11-0 home victory over Coventry Blaze NIHL – Sam Dunford, Steven Hetherington, Kyle Haslam and Chris Jones topped the scoring with two goals apiece.
George Crawshaw, Shaun Wild, Tom Humphries and Nathan Britton all scored twice in Sheffield Senators’ 12-3 win at home to Bradford Bulldogs.
Luke Smith’s goal five minutes from time secured a 4-4 draw for Nottingham Lions at Altrincham Aces.
