Invicta Dynamos claimed the runners-up spot in NIHL1 South with a 4-1 home victory over Solent Devils – Ashley Jackson, Callum Fowler (above), Nicky Lewis and Tom Ralph got the goals.
Streatham IHC ended the regular season in third place after a mixed weekend of results.
Jeremy Cornish’s team won 3-0 at London Raiders, but couldn’t follow up at home to Chelmsford as the Chieftains recorded a 6-4 success.
Alan Lack’s late goal sealed a 4-4 draw for London at Oxford City Stars. That result completed a disappointing weekend for the Stars who also lost 4-3 at Solent.
Peterborough Islanders maintained their 100% record in D2S with a pair of victories over Lee Valley Lions.
The Islanders won 5-3 on home ice and made it a four point weekend with a 5-1 success in the reverse fixture.
Luke Martin-Digby grabbed the deciding goal as Slough Jets triumphed 7-6 at home to Chelmsford Warriors.
Bristol Pitbulls won 9-1 at home to Wightlink Buccaneers and Swindon Wildcats NIHL eased to a 4-1 home win against Basingstoke Buffalo.
