Forward Steve Saviano has signed for another season with Belfast Giants.

The 35-year-old scored 18 goals with 30 assists in 56 games during his debut year in the Elite League.

Giants’ head coach Adam Keefe said: “Having ‘Savy’ back in Belfast for a second season is great for our team.

“He works hard every time he steps on the ice, his puck management is top notch.

“He’s great in the room, the guys love him and he will be counted on this season to be a big leader on and off the ice for the Giants.

“I know the fans will be very happy to hear he will be back again.”
