Paisley Pirates are back in action on Sunday as they host Moray Typhoons.
The Pirates still lead the SNL despite not playing last weekend and Head Coach Ian Turley says his team will be raring to go.
“It’ll be good to get back onto the ice for some competitive action,” Turley.
“Sometimes it’s good to get a weekend off, as it allows any of the boys carrying an injury an extra week to recover, but normally I’m looking for a game every weekend to keep us ticking over.
“I’ve got a lot of young players in the squad this year and they all want to be playing every week and getting ice time.
“To compound the situation, this will be our last home game until a couple of weeks before Christmas, as Braehead has the Arena booked out for the whole of November.
“It’s not ideal – we’d prefer to be getting a regular pattern of home fixtures, but that’s the way it’s working for us and when you don’t own your own rink you really aren’t in control of your own affairs.
“It’s not a complaint, it’s just the way it is.
“So we’re hoping we’ll get a good attendance as it’ll be the last chance for many supporters to see the team in action until we’re into the festive season.
“It would be good to come away with a win and even better if we can do so in front of a good crowd.”
