Aberdeen Lynx secured the runners-up spot in the SNL after a thrilling 5-4 victory at Dundee Comets on Sunday.
Aaron Thomson (2), Iain Malcolm (2) and Jordan Leyden got the goals for Lynx who finish the regular season one point behind champions Paisley Pirates.
Kirkcaldy resisted a final period fightback by Moray Typhoons to record a 5-4 road win – Chad Smith, Robbie Hill, Aaron Robertson, Caly Robertson and Marty Simpson were on target for the Kestrels.
Paisley took a big step towards reaching the Scottish Cup final for the second successive season after sealing an 11-2 win at Kilmarnock Storm in the first leg of their semi-final tie.
Fraser Campbell scored twice in the first period to set the Pirates on their way, before Martyn Guy and David Orr doubled the lead early in the middle session.
Graeme Lester pulled one back for the home side, but Orr grabbed his second to send the Pirates in 5-1 ahead at the second break.
Campbell completed his hat-trick in the third period, before Guy netted his second of the game to take the score to seven.
Haydn Bain added an eighth as the Pirates continued to run riot, and both Guy and Orr scored again to secure their personal trebles.
Mark Hassan fired home the Pirates’ eleventh goal, before Dillon Robertson gave the home fans something to cheer with a late consolation to make it 11-2.
