Braehead Clan’s exit from the Elite League play-offs at the hands of Dundee Stars over the weekend has seen the club part company with Head Coach Ryan Finnerty.
Despite missing out on the play-off weekend Finnerty had told the Glasgow Evening Times he was keen to return next term, but less than 24 hours later the news broke that Clan would be appointing a new Head Coach for the 2017/18 season.
Our latest Twitter Talk feature takes a look at the reaction to the announcement:

@rebellion_adam @BraeheadClan @officialEIHL @BritIceHockey @intuBraehead @TheEveningTimes @scottmullen87 @scotsunsport @BBCSportScot @BBCSpors @STVGlasgow @PDEofficial Conference title is a meaningless trophy. You flopped in the league and playoffs again. Right decision for you guys imo.

@BraeheadClan @officialEIHL @BritIceHockey @intuBraehead @TheEveningTimes @scottmullen87 @scotsunsport @BBCSportScot @BBCSpors @STVGlasgow @PDEofficial Think @Finner16 has done a good job how different things would be if we had won last game at Edinburgh 14/15 season ?

There will be mixed reviews of @Finner16 time @BraeheadClan but one thing is certain, he is an all round class act guy 🙂 All the best! pic.twitter.com/rlwIhPUbgw

@BraeheadClan @DELongwill @officialEIHL @BritIceHockey @intuBraehead @TheEveningTimes @scottmullen87 @scotsunsport @BBCSportScot @BBCSpors @STVGlasgow @PDEofficial Not altogether surprised. Clan went backwards this season. The capitulation against Dundee in the PO Q/F hastened his departure

Shame to see @BraeheadClan part ways with @Finner16. A top guy who always had time for an interview. Let’s hope he’s back in the game soon.

Gutted @Finner16 will not be in charge @BraeheadClan next season. Good luck Ryan you made The Clan a force in the EIHL #finnertyspurplearmy

Sad to see @Finner16 leave @BraeheadClan Thoroughly decent bloke who never turned down a media invite. Did a lot for the Clan. Good luck 👍

Can’t say I’m surprised at this. Braehead had loftier ambitions, even in the regular season, and play-off failure confirmed the inevitable. https://t.co/8onwCgdc94
