Sutton Sting moved up to third in NIHL North (Moralee Conference) with a 17-1 win at Telford Titans – Jamie Spurr (4) & Chris Sykes (3) led the scoring.
Karl Culley’s late equaliser sealed a 6-6 draw for Whitley Warriors at Sheffield Spartans. Paul Windridge scored twice in Billingham Stars’ 6-1 win at home to Manchester Minotaurs. In the KD Flavell & Sons Northern Cup Blackburn Hawks won 8-1 at Manchester.
Solihull Barons moved to the top of Laidler Conference after a four-point weekend. They won 7-2 at Blackburn Eagles and followed up with a 7-1 victory at home to Nottingham Lions. Hull Jets beat Sheffield Senators 4-2.
Wightlink Raiders extended their lead at the top of NIHL1 South with a pair of road wins. Alex Barker scored two in their 5-1 success at London Raiders and they completed a successful weekend with an 8-1 victory at Solent & Gosport Devils.
Chelmsford Chieftains slipped to a 6-3 loss at Streatham. Invicta Dynamos also suffered at the hands of the Redskins, losing 4-2 at home. Bristol Pitbulls closed the gap on the top three in NIHL2 South with a 5-2 home win against Basingstoke Buffalo.
Manchester Phoenix are the new EPL leaders. James Archer grabbed the shoot-out decider in a 3-2 win at Peterborough Phantoms and they followed up with a 6-0 success at home to Guildford Flames. Basingstoke Bison beat Bracknell Bees 1-0 – Joe Miller scored the only goal – while Ciaran Long scored a couple in a 5-0 win in the reverse fixture.
MK Lightning enjoyed a 7-1 win at home to Slough Jets and secured a four-point haul with a 7-4 victory in the return. Telford Tigers beat Sheffield Steeldogs 5-4 after a shoot-out on home ice and followed up with an impressive 5-1 road success.
Elite League leaders Belfast Giants secured a pair of wins, beating Coventry Blaze 5-1 and Dundee Stars 4-2. Braehead Clan lost 6-4 at Dundee, but bounced back with a 5-0 win at home to Fife Flyers and a 4-2 success at Coventry.
Sheffield Steelers split their weekend series with Cardiff Devils, winning 4-3 at home but crashing 5-1 in Wales. Guillame Doucet hit a hat-trick as Hull Stingrays beat Nottingham Panthers 7-5. Bobby Chaumont matched the feat in Fife’s 5-3 win at home to Hull.
