Coventry Blaze reached the last four in the Elite League play-offs after a remarkable comeback against Sheffield Steelers. Blaze trailed 3-2 after the first leg in Coventry, but Shea Guthrie’s second leg hat-trick sealed a 6-5 aggregate win.

Robert Lachowicz hit the winner for Nottingham Panthers as they recovered from 4-2 down against Fife Flyers to secure a 5-4 aggregate success.

Belfast Giants eased past Edinburgh Capitals 7-4 over two legs, while Cardiff Devils complete the semi-final line-up after their 12-9 aggregate victory over Braehead Clan.

Guildford Flames moved into the EPL play-off semi-final with an 11-3 aggregate win over Peterborough Phantoms – Curtis Huppe bagged four over the two legs. Joe Greener’s overtime winner sealed a 5-4 aggregate success for Basingstoke Bison against Swindon Wildcats. Adam Carr hit the overtime winner for MK Lightning as they beat Slough Jets 5-4. Manchester beat Bracknell Bees 10-6 on aggregate – Joachim Flaten & Andy McKinney both scored twice for Phoenix in the second leg.

NIHL2 North champions Nottingham Lions finished their season in style with a 6-2 home win over Solihull Barons. The result leaves Deeside Dragons needing a point from their final game at Hull Stingrays to secure the promotion play-off slot. Stingrays showed they’ll be tough to beat with a 7-5 win at Sheffield Senators.

Romford clinched the NIHL South Cup with a 12-8 aggregate win over Chelmsford Chieftains – Raiders’ Danny Marshall scored six over the two legs.
